I almost forgot to show one of my favorite gifts :) A little red birdcage from my friend Ally, to which I added a little yellow birdie.

Making Candles!

My friend Ally and I spent the other day going to thrift stores buying little pots and mugs. Then we went to Walmart and bought some candlesticks, melted them down on the stove, and poured the melted wax into our thrift finds :) It was a bit messy and slightly difficult but they turned out adorable!

My Studio :)

I felt like snapping a few photos to show ya'll a peek at my studio in case you were curious :)

 I don't believe I could survive without my micron pens.

I honestly carry at least one with me everywhere I go.

(except maybe when I go to the gym?)

 Wood samples. I love them.

I like to paint on smaller, sturdier canvases

so these little guys are the perfect thing. I have them

lying around everywhere in my studio.

 Here's a few random paintings I've done.

I'm not sure what to do with them.. I may even

paint over them eventually?

 I keep my whale/sea creature paintings together on

a music stand.

So I never said my studio wasn't messy.. ;)

I am So Spoiled :)

I can't help myself I have to share some highlights of my fantastic Christmas gifts :) I got so many books I am absolutely psyched to read, not to mention the countless cute owl items that my dear friend Ally :) got me!
I'm especially excited to read my two volumes of Uppercase Magazine :)

Holiday Card Designs..

Here's my favorite one that I did pre-coloring... do you think I could sell them on etsy next year? I have a few other animals and whatnot.

New Hur Cut.

I felt like I needed a substantial change in my life. And I began it with a hair cut. From today on, I am going to live my life in a different way. I am going to break my sugar addiction and take care of my  body. I am going to spend much less time on my computer, and much more time doing the art that I love. I am going to appreciate the fantastic family that I've been blessed with, with all of my being. I am going to forget and let go of the hurt from the fair weather friends from my past and turn all of that negative energy into positive and use it to support my tried and true friends. I am going to take chances. I am going to do other things that I cannot think of at this very moment. But oh, they are happenin'. You betta' believe it.
