I just recently started juggling again.

It's a great stress reliever.

And maybe it will help me with my lack of coordination?

Needless to say, I still don't know any juggling tricks

that are actually worth knowing.

Yet.

Thank goodness I never gave Drew his juggling balls back :)

My Heart is Hurting..

I just read this on another blog who got it from another... but that's irrelevant. What's important is this heart-wrenching story about this poor baleen whale, the loneliest whale in the world.

"i just read a comment from a 2004 article by the ny times about the loneliest whale in the world. scientists have been tracking her since 1992 and they discovered the problem:

she isn’t like any other baleen whale. unlike all whales, she doesn’t have friends. she doesn’t have a family. she doesn’t belong to any tribe, pack or gang. she doesn’t have a lover. she never had one. her songs come in groups of two to six calls, lasting for five to six seconds each. but her voice is unlike any other baleen whale. it is unique—while the rest of her kind communicate between 12 and 25hz, she sings at 51.75hz. you see, that’s precisely the problem. no other whales can hear her. every one of her desperate calls to communicate remains unanswered. each cry ignored. and with every lonely song, she becomes sadder and more frustrated, her notes going deeper in despair as the years go by."

Tattoo?

So my friend Ally has some super sweet birdie tattoos on her chest and I'm thinking about getting tattoos in a similar spot? Maybe birds or maybe whales.. I'm not sure yet. What do you think of that spot? I found a bunch of temporary tattoos in my closet so I gave it a test run ;)

Revisiting..

I've been revisiting a lot of older photos lately. Not sure why exactly.. good practice I suppose :) Isn't Lindsey so darn pretty?

Leaf.

Maybe it's because of this dreadfully lengthy winter and I'm missing signs of natural life.. or maybe it's because of its gorgeous and elegant lines and curves. Either way, this is my favorite leaf and I felt the urge to post it. Can anyone tell me what kind of tree it is from? Or other plant? It just reminds me of a soft and flowy skirt or dress that I would love to wear.

What do I do when I'm sick? Play with Europe photos of course. Golly I hope I get better soon... wavering in and out of fevers is no fun thing.

I love to do it. You never know what you'll find. I always find myself curious about who owned all of the items previously.. and why they gave them up. I feel an art project coming on. :)

A Few More Europe Photos

I miss it more and more every time I look at these photos. Thank goodness I took nearly two thousand so I have plenty to keep myself busy with.. haha In all honesty I must admit that I have yet to visit somewhere in America as beautiful as anywhere I went in Europe. But I haven't really gone anywhere in America. So I suppose that's the next step!

Also I had a dream last night that I went on another one of these trips with Saint Francis however we were going to California and Canada instead of Europe and I was actually super excited because it was purely a hiking trip. I wish this was coming true..... so much.
Now I'm really in the mood to get lost for hours on some great trails.
