THAT OWLS ARE SUPER AWESOME. Because they are. This is a Northern Pigmy Owl. And it's kind of hilarious.
And these are Northern Saw-Whet Owls. Cutest owls ever.

Mairuru is my new love.. I want to do all of her hand sewn projects. Like how to make a lanyard- http://mairuru.blogspot.com/2009/10/how-to-make-patchwork-lanyard-with.html

But I like it. I just stumbled upon these while letting blogs take me from one super neat cyberspot to another. I swear these people just trying to brag about how cool they are and how awesome their living space is.. *jealousyyy* anyways.. check out this site for more: http://www.theselby.com/4_12_09_lucy_duffy/index.html

But I still find it fascinating. I know it's not for every room.. but I would love some bright or unusual wallpaper in at least one room of my future home. Check out this super cool site for wallpaper http://namarococo.com/collection.html.

I don't like to steal from other blogs but I found this stationary to be so adorable I just honestly couldn't help it. Please check out Rifle Paper Company's stationary for sale here : http://www.riflepaperco.com/index.php.

I really wish I had more time on my hands to create things like Flora Douville. (http://floradouville.blogspot.com/). Her little calender is adorable and I would love to have one. Or make my own perhaps? It's so small and simple, yet so visually appealing. I would like to learn calligraphy as well. Or at least get a calligraphy pen.. I think it would help to create that kind of lettering. hm.. plus her little sewn fishies are adorable :) and they have adorable names as well.
Some names of these fellas include : Rufine, Gauzelin, Nivard, and Pomposa.

..But I enjoy it. Cubism was a very popular movement in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. It was pretty much pioneered by Picasso and Georges Braque. I much prefer Braque, however, because of his less garish color palette.. and I just prefer his style. Please take some time and look up some more cubist paintings, because they certainly are interesting to look at and may serve as some inspiration to you.

Super cool. According to http://www.ashesandsnow.org/en/vision/ --

Andrew Wyeth. Check him outttt : http://www.andrewwyeth.com/. Some of his stuff is so-so, but some pieces are real gems. He enjoys painting mostly the land and people around his hometown of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and at his summer home in Cushing, Maine.

David Hockney. A painter that I hate. A photographer that I enjoy. Check him out. http://www.hockneypictures.com/. He uses multiples shots to create one cohesive image, often showing movement or implying depth. Brilliant. And no, I will most definitely not ever post any of his paintings.
